Tyrala Performance Cars was born from a shared passion for sports and performance cars of husband and wife team Ken and Ashleigh Tyrala. They met in the motor trade and live and breath all things automotive.
Ken started his career as an apprentice vehicle technician, working his way up to master technician before moving into management. In 2007 he set up Truck Technics, a one stop vehicle business that carrys out service / repairs , bodywork , engineering and vehicle hire for commercials and cars. The business currently employs 30 members of staff and Ken is a director. Ken has been in the trade for 29 years and has a wealth of knowledge in all areas.
Kens passion for cars started as a child where he would spend hours browsing magazines of sports and performance cars and was very much influenced by the hot hatches of the era before becoming more involved in japanese performance cars. Ken and Ash are avid car collectors and the current collection includes a mk1 fiesta xr2 ( kens first car ) , 2 escort rs turbos , a nissan gt-r and a mitsubishi evo 6.
Ashleigh started out as an apprentice vehicle technician, before moving into aftersales. She has a high level of knowledge in parts and customer care and has been in the trade for 14 years.
Ashleighs passion for cars started at a very early age and she used to love going out with her dad in his Subaru Impreza. As with Ken she has a shared passion for Japanese performance cars but also german.
Both have a keen eye for detail, understand how a car works and all cars sold are to their exacting standards. They are not typical sales people and are not driven by sales figures or unnecessary added extras. They are driven by a pure passion for cars and ensuring the customer gets the best for themselves even if it means not buying a car from them.
